Cooking Demonstrations are back at The Olde Worthington Winter Farmer’s Market. Presented by Chef Del Sroufe, recipes will be featured using goods available at the market that day. Participants will receive recipes and a shopping list so they can purchase ingredients and make the great tasting foods at home. The first cooking session is Jan 9, 11AM - 1PM at the Griswold. Vow to try just one or if you're feeling very green, go for them all in 2010! • Give up all plastic bags in favor of reusable bags -- no matter the type of store you visit • Resolve not to drink out of any throwaway plastic bottles...bring your own metal or reusable bottle with you • Resolve to make at least one meal each week from all local ingredients • Replace at least five gifts you'd normally buy at a store with local and/or handmade purchases.
